Another Chapter

Today ended one chapter of Matthew's life and began another. We were so proud to watch him take the stage at his Preschool Graduation. What a big boy he has become. Look out kindergarten -- here comes Matthew Weeks!! He was so excited about the day!!

Field Day

April 30th was Field day at Lane's school. The kids had a great time. They don't do it like we did back in the "old" days though. They have really taken the competition all out of it. No ribbons or winners, just a day of fun! The kids had a WONDERFUL time though.

SPEECHLESS.....

I AM NOT SURE I HAVE AN EXPANATION FOR THIS OTHER THAN SOME PICTURES ARE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS AND OTHERS ARE BEST LEFT JUST LEFT TO LOOK AT! I THINK THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES!! MATTEW MADE THIS AND TOLD ABOUT IT IN CHURCH!! HE HONESTLY HAD GOOD INTENTIONS OF TELLING WHAT EXACTLY GOD MADE!! I THINK HE GOT HIS POINT ACCROSS!! DON'T YOU?

We've Got Eggs!!

Yesterday, Lane came bursting through the doors of my bedroom "Momma, look what I got, it's still warm -- I was so excited I dropped one on my way up here!!" HA You got it! Our Jersey Giants have started laying their eggs!! It's hard to say who gets more "fired up" about it, Uncle Chris, Daddy, or the boys!! The poor little hens have to lay their eggs practically with someone looking over their shoulder or should I say wing!! Sunday morning I think one had fried eggs, the other scrambled, and maybe the other sunny side up. I can't remember, the point is, is I am going to need all the egg recipes I can get. It apparently is going to look a lot like Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co. around here -- Shrimp for breakfast, shrimp for lunch, shrimp for dinner. The only difference is we will be serving eggs!!
