ONE WISH.....

www.robinhoodfund.com

Couldn't sleep last night and I found this website. It was really an eye opener for me to see just how fortunate my family and I really are. Some of these people have the smallest wishes.

If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for?

Can't win 'em all

Lane and Taelin -- Double Trouble (on and off the field)

Well. we ended up losing our first two games of the tournament on Saturday! That's how the ball rolls sometimes!

Lane was pretty upset. It didn't last long cause we started practice for summer baseball on Sunday and have 3 games this week! I don't think it is gonna ever end. He is probably playing fall ball, and then we will back around to spring.

Can't even begin to imagine what is gonna be like with all 3 my boys playing! It's gonna be BLAST!!! I am definitely up for it!!!!

Two for Two

Last night, about 10:45, we finished up the qualifying face of the 2007 All-Star Tournament. We won our first game against Ruston, 5-0. GO HAUGHTON!! Then, we had a rematch with the Bossier Nationals. We came out fighting, leading 4-0 after the 3rd inning. Unfortunately a few tough plays and they still came out ahead 4-12. Double OUCH!!!

Today we will complete the state qualifying face of the tournament @1:00. If we should win then, BLESS OUR HEARTS, we will face the Bossier Nationals once again! There are 10 teams left in this face of the tournament and 4 will qualify for the state tournament next weekend. I think it will be played in West Monroe, LA. Gonna be a long day!

GO HAUGHTON

One and One

Last night kicked off the start off the 2007 All-star Tournament. We played our first game at 6:45 (actually started @ 7:45) against the Bossier Nationals! They brought their bats with 'em to the game, we lost 1-13! OUCH!!!!

We then played our second game, beginning at 9:15 or so. Thankfully our boys pulled their bats out and we won 19-9! Should have been like 19-3, but by 10:00, our boys were delirious and had a really tough time getting that 3rd out in the last inning!!

Lane took a good lick by the ball in his shoulder blade (he plays pitcher) in the first game. He is such a trooper though! He came out of the game for a few plays and jumped right back in there!!! We are so proud of him and all of the other boys!!!!

TONIGHT WE KICK IT OFF AGAIN AT 5:30 --- GONNA BE A HOT ONE!!!

GO HAUGHTON!!!!!

We've Got Spirit

Tonight is the start of the 7/8 machine pitch all-star tournament! We will play in Minden at 6:45 and then again at 8:00. We will for sure have a game tomorrow night. Depending on how these games turn out will determine if we will advance to the Saturday games. The boys have all worked very hard and seem to be having fun!

GO HAUGHTON!!!!!

UPDATE!

Okay, so Annie informed me that I didn't have my anonymous comments enabled -- checked it out, and I didn't. But, I do now. So, there are no excuses! LEAVE A COMMENT!!!!!

1,2,3 CUBS

Swing Batter, Batter! (Matthew)

"Boy, you better back off me!" (Allison Lewis)

Jaycie is getting ready to step up to the plate.

Well, Matthew's WeeBall (teeball) season has come to an end! The kids all had a wonderful time and so did the parents (I think)! I know I had a great time! The kids were usually good for about half the game and then they were more into "snack time". Typical I guess. Next year should be a real treat, most the team will be moving up to the the "real" tee ball league.

Lurker or Stalker

Annie accused several of you "blog Lurkers" as being "blog stalkers" the other day on her blog because many of you love stopping in to see what's going on in our world's, but never leave comments! I have to agree with her! If you stop to peek, please leave a comment! We love hearing from you guys and gals as much as you all enjoy checking in on us! Mark your comment anonymous if you don't want anyone to know who you are!!!

Noah James

"I'm not much on that baby food, but I really dig those "baby biscuits"!

"Look what I can do!" Of course I left Noah for a minute rolling around on the floor and when I walked back in the room, he was sitting up! Isn't that ALWAYS how it happens -- "to little to late".

WE'RE NOT TIRED......

The kids are having a wonderful time a Vacation Bible School this week. We had Happy Meals for lunch today. I told all of them we would have quiet time after lunch. Of course none of them were tired!

CELEBRATE!

Since Lane and Hunter couldn't make Gary's party tonight, we decided to have a small one for him last night at our house. The boys had a great time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARY!!!!!

Promoted!

As Lane said "I passed, I get to go to second grade." Of course I never doubted that he would, but HE seemed rather relieved I think to hear his teacher say it, and have his report card confirm it as well! He finished up the year with straight A's (not sure his dad or I either one ever got straight A's) HAHAHA!!
These are a few pics of Lane's End of the Year Party at School! The kids had a GREAT time!!!

SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! I am really not sure who is more excited, Lane or me!!!!!
